Charter/discription for alt.discuss.convention

This group's original purpose was to create a Web TV convention to bring together fellow Web TV users to put a face with the names.

The first thought was to break the country into regions and have smaller get-togethers the first year, and then to try for a national convention the second year.

The group was lacking in leadership and quickly fell apart. Posting in the group stopped until it was adopted by the current inhabitants and has become a flourishing general discussion group.
