Charter for alt.discuss.disability.obesity:
This group will be for the the disabled and obese, or just the obese, even if your obesity in not disabling. Topics of discussion may include, but are not exclusive to, SSI and Disabilty cases/ benifits, Dealing with public situations, Clothing, Emotional support, Family, Health, Products geared toward the obese, Diet, Recipes, Living Life to the fullest, Medicines, Nutrition, Medical treatment, Sounding off about mis-treatment, and Living with obesity.The rules include: No SPAM, NO FLAMING (this is a BIG issue, since the obese are essentially "flamed" in life), No Porn, No solicitation for voted for other news groups, No degrading of the disabled or the obese.Violating these rules will result in a report to abuse@webtv.net.

This group will be for the the disabled and obese, (Though those who are just obese, even if your obesity in not disabling are more than welcomed.)
Topics of discussion may include, but are not exclusive to, SSI and Disabilty cases/ benifits, Dealing with public situations, Clothing, Emotional support, Family, Health, Products geared toward the obese, Diet, Recipes, Living Life to the fullest, Medicines, Nutrition, Medical treatment, Tips On how to deal with "normal activities" when you are not able to, Being fluffy while living in a thin persons world, Sounding off about mis-treatment, and Living with obesity.
The rules include: No SPAM, NO FLAMING (this is a BIG issue, since the obese are essentially "flamed" in life), No Porn, No solicitation for votes for other news groups, No degrading of the disabled or the obese. There will be a strict NO TOLERENCE policy of "fat jokes", and any source of rudeness or disrespect based on size in this group.
Violating these rules will result in a report to abuse@webtv.net.
Above all, It should always be kept in mind that the disabled and the obese are feeling, needing, breathing humans, just like anyone else, worthy of love, comfort, peace and respect, and a place to have that on the web.
