Proposal for alt.discuss.sport.gymnastics from CBfromMA

This group is meant as a haven for the fans of a sport which, in North America, has a relatively small yet devoted following. While the WebTV news server already has five gymnastics related news groups, one is dead, one is a spammers paradise, and the other three are beset with flammers and trolls (especially alt.sports.gymnastics and alt.sport.gymnast.moceanu). Hopefully, by creating a group here, in the alt.discuss hierarchy, some of these problems can be eliminated because it would be limited to WebTV subscribers.

Off topic discussions would not be allowed, but they would be, "decriminalized" is the best word for it. Basically, off topic discussion is all right as long as the discussion has something to do with the goings on in the group. Flammers and trolls will be reported immediately.
