Proposal for the creation of alt.discuss.support.fibromyalgia
I would like to propose a newsgroup for fibromyalgia support. There are a lot of people across the country, and the world, that are suffering from fibromyalgia. I would like to see us help each other when times get really rough. We should have a group to help people who are suffering from fibromyalgia, and want to learn how others cope.
Let's please keep it clean.
Spam is not welcome.
Caps will be acceptable. Flaming will not. If a person has a problem with another poster, they should take it to private email or ignore it.

Alt.discuss.support.fibromyalgia was founded May 31,1999 as a place for people suffering from Fibromyalgia and other related sister diseases (such as CFS, OA, RA, Lupus) to share our frustrations. fear, pain, and needs.
Also welcome to join in are the family and friends of those who suffer from this dreaded disease (aka DD).
Questions are welcomed, and all advice is appreciated. The more we all learn about this little understood disease, the more we can all hope for a pain-free and healthy future.
For those of us who have a little trouble with our eyes, the use of CAPS is just fine and appreciated by many.
Because Fibromyalgia is only part of our lives, and not who we ARE, posts on many subjects are enjoyed by all. We love to laugh, knowing that the laughter does as much to ease our pain as the drugs and other forms of therapy.
Flamers are never encouraged nor tolerated. They will be ignored by all as we mean to keep our group a place of safety and comfort.
