Proposal for the creation of alt.discuss.support.gay.teens

THE CHARTER:
alt.discuss.support.gay.teens
This is a support and discussion newsgroup created by teenagers to help with the everyday struggles of being a gay teenager. This group was designed to give support and to be a place where gay teenagers can meet friends like them who will help with understanding and friendship. The subject will vary and all topics of interest are welcome. The age of the participants 13 years old to 19 years old is encouraged. The age group up to 25 years old is allowable as long as that age group conducts themselves in a proper manner. Older adults are allowed to participate as guests in the form of an advisor/mentor only.   This room is to be run on a PG-13 rating. All pornography, sexually explicit R-Rated written material and subjects are strictly prohibited. As it is against the law in the United States and most states to knowingly make such information accessible to minors, and will be forwarded to abuse@web tv.net and the appropriate law enforcement authorities immediately. We can not stress enough that all harassment will be dealt with quickly and efficiently. This is a group primarily for minors so this enforcement is stronger than normal in this aspect. We hope this group to be a safe and friendly forum for the support of gay teenagers along with help in meeting new friends in a decent atmosphere. This Newsgroup alt.discuss.support.gay.teens is dedicated to all persons that died to young by their own hands to suicide because they had no were else to turn for help.
