Proposal for the creation of alt.discuss.videogames.next-generation
September 9th 1999 is shaping up to be one of the BIGGEST days the Videogame Industry has EVER seen....not to mention one of the most anticipated days amongst us consumers...
...Why Sept. 9th? This will be the day Sega makes an unprecedented comeback...their all new "power-house" of a console by the name of "Dreamcast" will finally be a reality!! As thousands and thousands of us stand in the long lines just to get one...the rest of us can be sitting back and discussing what has and will happen....now, and in the future....
Not soon after the "Dreamcast" release, we will be subjected to a HUGE amount of "rumors" and "facts" concerning Sony's Playstation 2 and of course Nintendo's Mega-Machine called "Dolphin" for now....again, we get to sit back and discuss what each and every one of us has learned....
...Now, I'm sure everyone knows that these 3 industry "giants" will NOT be stopping there....hence the name..."Next-Generation"...the only choices these companies have is to get "bigger" and "better"...and so it goes...MORE TO DISCUSS!!! ...
Now, I realize every person has their own opinions, (I have mine), this discussion group WILL be a friendly place where you can share those opinions...WITHOUT REGRET!! Any unnecessary flaming and/or spamming will be handled accordingly....THE KEY IS TO HAVE FUN!!!
