Charter for alt.discuss.home.repair:
A place for homeowners to discuss home repairs and get tips on do it yourself repairs from others who know about minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc. Why spend money foolishly on repairmen, when a lot can be done by the homeowner. A place for people to learn what hardware is available and how to complete many repair projects easily themselves. The repairs discussed would be for people living in houses, apartments, condos, and in some cases, mobile homes also. Tips on decorating and improving the yard would be included covering such items as pavers, cement work and in some cases, planting for decoration.
